all of my work is personal to my understanding of memory
and loss. for much of my life i have been trying to come to terms with a time in my life that only exists in my memory.


my relationship with memory is very distant, but amplified by color and sound. recently my work has been centered around the importance of music and its ability to keep many of my memories alive. everything i create serves as a bridge between myself and the parts of my cultural identity that i have had to teach myself about.
